Adding an extra layer of protection to the already excellent Abus Bordo, the Bordo Alarm 6000A/90 Folding Lock sounds a 100dB alarm if tampered with.

The clever steel bar mechanism means that the lock folds down into a compact shape, yet can easily attach a bike to a secure object.

Abus Bordo Alarm 6000A/90 Folding Lock

The Abus Bordo Alarm 6000A/90 Folding Lock adds an extra useful feature to deter any thieves: 3D Position Detection sensors activate a 100dB alarm in the event that any movements are detected. The smart sensors can distinguish between small vibrations (in which case a warning beep will be sounded) and an attempt to tamper with the lock (which will unleash the full 100dB). The 5mm hardened steel bars of the lock itself are joined by special rivets, and are coated with a soft plastic to prevent any damage to the frame or paintwork. Acoustic signals indicate battery and activity status.

Features

  • 5mm bars with extra-soft two-component casing to prevent damage to paintwork
  • The bars and body are made of specially hardened steel
  • Alarm at a volume of at least 100 dB for 20 seconds, followed by automatic reactivation
  • 3D Position Detection – detects vibrations and the smallest of movements in all three dimensions and triggers an alarm
  • Smart alarm – the lock only emits a small warning beep in the event of minor and brief vibrations, e.g. if a football bounces nearby
  • Acoustic signals provide information on battery level and activity status
  • Bars are linked with special rivets
  • Abus Plus cylinder for maximum protection against attempted manipulation
  • Great protection where there is a high risk of theft
  • Ideal for securing high-cost bicycles
