BMC Teammachine SLR FIVE Disc Road Bike 2022
The BMC Teammachine SLR FIVE Disc Road Bike is fast, efficient and comfortable, making it a great option for racing, training or long sportives. The carbon frame uses ACE+ (Accelerated Composites Evolution Technologies) to balance stiffness, weight and compliance alongside aerodynamics so that the finished design offers a compelling mixture of all four attributes. This means that the frame has excellent power transfer thanks to a wider bottom bracket area yet can still offer all-day comfort. The tube shapes, fork profile, integrated cockpit and seatpost clamp all add to the bike’s slippery design so that fewer watts are needed to speed along.
Shimano’s second-tier 11-speed Ultegra groupset uses much of the same designs and features as the range-topping Dura-Ace, with just a small added weight penalty, so shifting is fantastically crisp and reliable whilst the hydraulic disc brakes bring plenty of power and control to proceedings. Other neat touches include the Stealth Dropout Design which looks very tidy and the carbon, D-shaped seatpost that adds a little more compliance than a round post. Should the 25mm Vittoria Rubino tyres not suffice, the frame has clearance for even comfier 30mm rubber.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
