Bianchi Oltre XR4 CV Dura-Ace Di2 Road Bike 2018
Aerodynamic tubing, sleek aesthetics and a rich heritage; the Dura-Ace equipped Bianchi Oltre XR4 CV is a road bike like no other.
Constructed from monocoque hi-modulus carbon fibre, the frameset provides phenomenal stiffness at an impressively low weight, perfect for transferring all your power to the road. It is, however, the addition of Countervail that truly sets this bike apart, this vibration cancelling technology is integrated into the entire frameset, effectively damping road feedback for increased comfort without the need for any moving parts.
It is this construction that makes the XR4 such a versatile aero bike, ensuring an equally efficient ride whether you're spinning up a steep climb, tackling long distances or sprinting for the line. Due to this impressive blend of performance, low weight and compliance, the XR4 is suitable for triathlons, road racing, undulating endurance events and anything in between.
When designing the XR4, Bianchi used the same Flow Visualisation tests as used in the F1 industry and a closed wind tunnel to maximise the bikes aerodynamic efficiency. The result; a frame, fork, seatpost and seat clamp that blend seamlessly into one another. Additionally, the headtube and fork use a profile tailored towards reducing drag on the road. Combined, these alterations offer the XR4 an impressive 20 watt power gain over its predecessor, the XR2, perfect for the discerning cyclist chasing every possible marginal gain. Utilising Bianchi's tried and tested race geometry, the rider is placed in a position optimised for fast-paced riding over long distances.
The Dura-Ace Di2 Groupset provides the slick, reliable and instantaneous shifting expected from Shimano's premium 11-speed offering, while the direct mount brakes provide the sharp, modulated stopping power required for tackling technical descents at speed. Combining a 52x36T chainset with an 11-28T cassette, the XR4 has a broad enough gear range for climbing and sprinting along the flat alike.
Completed with Fulcrum's Racing Zero C17 Wheels, the bikes performance and versatility are further increased. Featuring a wider rim profile, bladed spokes and ceramic bearings these lightweight wheels offer fantastic crosswind stability and efficient climbing. Paired with Vittoria Corsa G+ Tyres, the rolling resistance is reduced, while the tyre's 25mm width ensures maximum levels of grip and comfort in varied conditions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
