The Bontrager Aeolus 3 TLR Clincher Disc Rear Wheel is perfect for riders who seek the lightweight performance of a carbon fibre race wheel with the stopping power of disc brakes. The versatile 35 millimetre rim profile is ideally suited to hilly or mountainous riding and aerodynamic D3 Dual Directional Design profile still provides an advantage on the flat.
The D3 Dual Directional Design profile cuts drag dramatically over the tyre-leading and rim-leading edges as well as reducing turbulence over the centre of the wheel.
Bontrager's ultra-light, stiff and strong OCLV carbon fibre rim is durable and more than ready to withstand the torque you put through the wheel. The TLR rim system means that this wheel is ready for a quick transition to a tubeless setup and the included TLR rim strip and TLR valve stem means that setup is a quick and easy process with the conversion kit (sold separately).
The strong and stiff hub has a centrelock disc mounting and interchangeable axles, as well as fast engaging DT Swiss internals with a star ratchet. This combines with stacked lacing to provide better rigidity and strength and the included quick release skewer means you will be ready to ride straight out of the box.
The smooth black colour scheme inspires speed and ensures that you'll be turning heads on the start line.
