Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3 TLR Carbon Clincher Disc Rear Wheel
At only 885g, the Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3 TLR Carbon Clincher Disc Rear Wheel balances weight, durability and aerodynamics for an all round wheel suitable for racing and training, whether on the flat or in the mountains.
A disc brake specific wheel, you can be assured of exceptional stopping power and the 24 DT Aerolite spokes with stacked lacing ensure the wheel is strong enough to cope with the different forces applied when using a disc brake set up.
The 35mm rim makes this an excellent climbing wheel and the D3 Dual Directional Design profile reduces drag for increased aerodynamics on the flats. Both rim and wheel are constructed from OCLV Carbon for strength and durability, so the wheel will stand up to whatever torque you put through it.
Tubeless-ready, you can easily convert to a tubeless set-up for improved speed, comfort and grip, with a reduced risk of punctures. This is a quick and easy transition, with a TLR rim strip and valve included. An axle swap kit (purchased separately) can be used to convert the centrelock disc hub with 12mm thru-axle to 15mm or quick release.
