Bontrager Affinity Pro TLR Front Clincher Disc Wheel 2016
Much of this wheel's stiffness and strength stems from the reinforced spoke nodes and stacked lacing alignment. The reinforced spoke nodes strengthen the point at which the spoke enters the rim. This decreases the threat of flex at this junction while also increasing the overall integrity of the rim.
A stacked lacing alignment provides better spoke bracing for a stiffer wheel while also allowing for weight shaving.
The redesigned lightweight alloy rims have been widened to 23 millimetres. This makes for a greater level of stability and traction whilst cornering without having any effect to the wheel's stiffness or its smooth and aerodynamic profile.
The TLR rim system means that this wheel is ready for a quick transition to a tubeless setup and the included TLR rim strip and TLR valve stem means that setup is a quick and easy process with the conversion kit (sold separately).
Anchoring this lightweight rim and spoke configuration is a DT Swiss hub with a centrelock disc mounting. This simple mounting system means that attaching your disc rotor (sold separately) is a simple task.
Sleek, stylish and refreshingly understated, the Bontrager Affinity Pro TLR Front Clincher Disc Wheel 2016 looks splendid as part of any bike setup.
