Bontrager Ballista MIPS Road Helmet
Get an aerodynamic advantage with no compromise on ventilation with the Bontrager Ballista MIPS Road Helmet. You'll be able to shave those all important seconds off your best times and slice through the wind thanks to this helmets wind-tunnel tested design.
This is a helmet that can offer the best levels of protection in the event of a crash thanks to the inclusion of the MIPS Multi-directional Impact Protection System. Not all impacts are linear and MIPS technology results from 20 years of research and trials and is designed to combat rotational impact. A low-friction layer between the shell and liner allows the helmet to slide relative to the head in the case of rotational motion. Forces are redirected and redistributed away from the brain, reducing the risk of both minor and major brain injury.
Ventilation has also been well considered and a large volume of air is drawn into the helmet through the specially shaped front centre vents. Internal channels move the air over your head to keep you cool and your head dry no matter how hard you're working. Any perspiration that does build up will be quickly wicked away by the AgION anti-microbial, odour eliminating pads.
The LockDown dividers ensure you can easily adjust and manage the helmet straps to keep them neat and prevent them flapping around, and micro adjustments to the fit can be made with the Boa closure system.
