Brompton M6L Folding Electric Bike
Boasting a 6-speed gear system, a steel frame and a 36-volt battery, the Brompton M6L Folding Electric Bike is the perfect companion for city commutes. The battery can be removed from the bike with just a click. Included with the bike is the Essential Bag for the battery which also has a 1.5 litre pocket for any other items, this mounts to the gloss black frame, a colourway that is sure to turn heads.
An M Type handlebar is an iconic Brompton addition, offering comfort and an upright position and the 6-speed gearing offers a wide range of options for getting up even the toughest of gradients. Handy commuter-friendly additions such as the 30 Lux Busch & Muller AVY LED front a Spanninga solo XE rear light and L shaped mudguards keep you seen and dry. Tyres come courtesy of Schwalbe, with their Marathon Racer rubber offering excellent levels of grip and puncture protection.
Where this bike stands out from the rest of Brompton's range is the added electric assistance. The 36-volt battery has a range of 20-45 miles, with the battery life visible via an integrated user interface, displayed on an LED display. Assistance is available up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h and charging is made simple with the Standard charger taking four hours to go from empty to full.
