When Brooks England launched their C13 range, it immediately provoked a bit of a stir as this long-established brand has long been synonymous with comfort and long distance. The C13, however, was a statement of performance intent. This 100-year brand favoured by the traditionalists had created their first narrow carbon-railed saddle, and in the Brooks C13 Cambium Carved Saddle, they've taken things further.

Sitting on top of monocoque carbon rails, this saddle weighs just 250 grams whilst offering a supremely stiff rigidity, allowing you to transfer your power into your pedals. Tested for performance in the Arenberg forest by no less than David Millar, this saddle is light whilst supremely comfortable.

A carved central channel providing a crucial pressure relief, the C13 Cambium Carved enables the rider to go further, and faster in greater comfort. This channel preventing pressure being put on sensitive areas, you can be sure of tackling that long day without too much issue.

Taking its name from its width, the C13 is available in it's narrowest edition at 13.2cm in width. Composed featuring a vulcanised rubber base slung innovatively over the carbon rails in a manner that imitates Brooks' traditional method, this saddle remains stiff whilst allowing for a degree of flex that takes the shocks out of the road. With the vulcanised resistant to stretching or compression, unlike traditional leather or padded saddles, the C13 offers durable and long-lasting comfort.
