First up there's the Vortex dimpled fabric on the legs providing superb aerodynamic performance; minimising the energy output of the legs whilst maximising their ability to generate power and cut through the air.

The Forza fabric on the inner legs with 30% Lycra makes for the perfect fit with compression for maximum muscle support and a top of the line level of comfort.

New improvements have been made to the women's Progetto X2 Air pad which now keeps you cooler and dryer than ever before. The women's pad has been designed in conjunction with a select team of testers fresh from the professional peloton in order to hone the short's comfort and performance. This chamois is constructed in three layers, with each performing a specific role. A skin care layer with bacteriostatic material and a four-way stretch adapts to the shape of the riders body and their saddle. A seamless, integrated technology cushioning layer with multi-density foam and infinitely variable thickness positions the pad where it's required most. Finally, viscous comfort inserts for added pressure-relief have been placed in the highly-sensitive ischial and perineum areas.

The attention to detail does not stop there. Flat-lock stitching and a Giro mesh-like leg gripper elastic distribute pressure over a larger area in order to optimise comfort.
