Described by Castelli as a 'workhorse' jacket, for riders happy to go and brave the worst elements on long, wet rides, the Idro Pro Jacket features ultralight waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY fabric. Light, breathable, fully waterproof and with an aerodynamic fit, this is the ultimate jacket for all-day wear in less than ideal conditions.
Weighing a mere 158 grams in size large, when the weather starts to improve you can easily pack the jacket away into a jersey pocket. In addition to the main fabric, Gore Topo inserts in the elbows, shoulders and side panels, taped seams and a Gore/YKK integrated zipper ensure a fully waterproof construction throughout. The stretch element of these inserts allows for a close fit with no restrictions so you have full freedom of movement no matter your riding position.
A longer tail prevents your back from getting a soaking from cold spray and the soft neck liner adds to the comfort of this jacket and prevents the ingress of cold air. The silicone elastic waistband holds the jacket securely in place and two rear external pockets are easy to access and perfect for storing items that you may need mid-ride.
A reflective trim improves your visibility to other road users so in the pouring rain and after the sun has gone down, you can be sure you remain seen and safe.
