The symmetrical 14-tooth narrow-wide profile significantly enhances shifting by delivering precise chain engagement, reducing friction and, subsequently, drag. They are machined from lightweight alloy and the bearing races have a metallic coating that makes them incredibly hard and smooth - 75% harder than steel bearings - so they're more resistant to corrosion, improving longevity.
