Cervelo Aspero Apex 1x Disc Gravel Bike 2023
The Aspero Apex 1x Disc Gravel Bike from Cervelo is a fast off-road bike with a light carbon frame and 1x groupset. Power transfer is excellent thanks to the stiff, oversized bottom bracket area but the carbon layup elsewhere ensures good compliance and vibration absorption. There is sufficient clearance to fit 700 x 42mm or 650b x 49mm tyres, with the fork’s Trail Mixer flip-chip enabling some handling tuning when using different sized wheels. On the top tube, there are mounts for the included storage bag which keep it safely secured and tucked out of the wind behind the stem.
SRAM’s Apex groupset offers a simplified 1x system, with a wide-range 11-speed cassette that works well off-road and hydraulic disc brakes for power and control whatever the weather conditions. A good option for fast riding in drier conditions, the 38mm Panaracer GravelKing tyres have a low-profile tread that won’t cause too much extra drag on tarmac but that have sufficient grip for traction away from paved roads and the AlexRims Boondocks-7D wheels are tubeless-ready if required.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
