Unlike other wheel designers who just convert rim brake wheels to disc brake, ENVE have gone back to the drawing board and constructed the wheel from the hubs, out. Stemming from over a decade of world-class leading mountain bike wheel manufacturing, ENVE’s knowledge in the sector is unparalleled, and everything from the rim’s 100% uni-directional carbon fibre laminate to the aerodynamics of the rim will keep you riding faster and stronger than ever before.

A supremely low weight of just 664g enhances this efficiency, but also allows for snappy, responsive handling so you can attack the climbs with ease and descend in true confidence. The shape of the 3.4 SES has been improved over previous iterations, too, with a new wider 27.5mm rim width that houses 25mm tyres beautifully and ensures optimum rolling resistance and grip when you need it the most.

A 38mm rim depth keeps this front wheel versatile, whilst a 24 spoke count improves the durability without affecting weight. Of course, with the growing popularity of tubeless technology, ENVE have seen its potential and ensured the rim is ready to go tubeless straight away.

Compatibility:

This wheel is built around a 12mm thru-axle, and can only be used with bikes equipped to take thru-axles. It cannot be used with quick release skewers.
