Designed to meet the needs of the worlds fastest EWS riders, the FOX 38 Float Factory 170 29 GRIP2 Tapered Suspension Fork brings the technology of the latest FOX 36 to an all-new, 38mm platform. Optimised for between 160-180mm of travel the 38 offers hard-hitting performance with no compromises, balancing stiffness and weight through advanced construction methods. Investing countless hours into research and development, FOX’s recently redesigned lower leg arch is designed to save every gram possible.
Taking cues from the burly, dual crown Fox 40, the lowers of the 38 can equalise built-up pressure through the use of bleed valves. This reduces the dramatic effects that longer descents can have on fork performance, allowing full use of travel and improved small bump sensitivity. Unique to the 38 chassis is the elliptical steerer tube design, adding fore and aft stiffness whilst eliminating excess weight.
By increasing the negative air spring volume, Fox’s EVOL technology offers a more refined ride than ever. Volume spacers allow for tuneable bottom-out progression, combining sensitivity and grip with big-hit performance. The heralded GRIP2 damper allows for unmatched ride quality, offering adjustment levels ideal for racers looking to get the most out of their ride.
