Focus Izalco Chrono Max 2.0 Time Trial Bike 2016

However, closer inspection will reveal you are getting even more for your money than initially thought as even at this tierr you are getting the benefits from all of the superb work done by Focus to provide the AG2R La Mondiale team with the fastest possible bike. This means that whenever you pit this bike against the clock, be that in a time trial or a triahtlon, you know that your equipment is going to be giving you as much of an advantage as possible.
Thorough testing in the wind tunnel has allowed Focus to better integrate the brake into the bladedChrono Max P2T 10 aero Carbon fork in a way that guides air past the front wheel and the down tube for dramatic reductions in drag. Similarly, the rear brake is positioned in the ultimate aerodynamic position, under the bottom bracket.
Integrating the stem and seatpost into the frameset further enables this bike to cheat the wind. Inspired design from the legendary Andreas Walser, a man famous for his dynamic, state of the art time trial frames.
Electronic gear shifting is what you want in the race against the clock to ensure effortless, reliable and precise shifting every time. Thankfully, the Shimano Ultegra Di2 TT components here provide just that, whilst only adding slightly more weight than the Dura Ace version. The Rotor 3D30 crankset is an impressive inclusion with it providing superb stiffness in the area you need it the most.
The Profile T2 Wing with T4 Aerobars for the cockpit offers comfort and speed. Aerodynamics and time saving components are abundant. Fizik's Arione TRI 2 saddle adds style and is designed specifically for those tip of the saddle efforts.
Fulcrum add an Italian touch to the bike, with the fast, reliable and durable Fulcrum WH-CPX 1700 wheels that have been further enhanced with the addition of Schwalbe Ironman tyres. This adds grip and provides low rolling resistance, ideal for a ten mile time trial, sprint distance triathlon or epic Ironman event.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
