Focus Jarifa2 6.8 Nine Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike 2021
The Focus Jarifa2 6.8 Nine Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike is a great way of exploring the countryside, allowing longer trips and tougher terrain to be tackled.
It utilises Bosch’s 250W Performance CX Gen4 motor and pairs it with a 625Wh battery for power and range aplenty, making light work of any hills or annoying headwinds, with assistance available up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h. The motor is mounted in the bottom bracket for balanced handling and the downtube battery can be removed for easier charging away from the bike.
Borrowing from both mountain and trekking bikes, the Jarifa2 has a comfortable, stable geometry that provides confidence and control off-road and efficiency on smoother roads or trails. The 100mm travel SR Suntour XCR 32 RLR fork provides comfort and control on bumpy roads or trails, keeping the front wheel in contact with the ground for more grip.
The 29” Shimano MT500 wheels and wide Schwalbe tyres roll easily over any rocks and bumps, making it easier to keep the speed up whilst the Shimano MT400 hydraulic disc brakes ensure that the pace is kept under control. Shifting across the wide-range 11-51t tooth cassette is quick and accurate, with the spread of gears sufficient for any steep hill or fast descent.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
