Focus Mares AL Tiagra Cyclocross Bike
The Focus Mares AL Tiagra Cyclocross Bike is a great entry into the world of real cyclocross racing. Made from aluminium 7005 for a quality and tough construction, this bike has a BSA threaded bottom bracket and uses internal brake and gear cabling to provide an uncomplicated frameset for those moments when you need to sling it over your shoulder.
Equipped with a Shimano Tiagra 10-speed groupset that offers 20-speeds to the rider, steep and sharp rises on their cyclocross course are easily tackled. The Shimano 12-28 tooth cassette and a 50/34 tooth chainset combine to offer a broad spectrum of gears, with the Tiagra 10-speed derailleurs providing smooth, swift and reliable shifting. With disc brakes for controlled braking in slippy and tough conditions, this bike is an ideal choice for riders really wanting to experience the joys of riding in the mud.
Rolling on Continental Race King CX clincher tyres sized at 35mm and with a DT Swiss R522 disc clincher wheelset offering a fast and low-friction response, this bike is tough enough to tackle most any course you point it at. Finished with a Velo VL-1489 saddle offering comfort and an array of BBB components, this bike is built for adventure and for fun in the mud.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
