Focus Sam2 6.9 Electric Mountain Bike 2022
Made to descend - the Focus Sam2 6.9 Electric Mountain Bike is designed to meet the increased demands of some of the worlds greatest riders, with modern geometry to drop your times on the descents and tackle the obstacles you have been dreaming of. With a slack head angle and contemporary reach measurements, the Sam2 puts you firmly in control on even the wildest of runs.
170mm of Focus’s electric mountain bike optimised F.O.L.D suspension puts even the largest gaps within reach, with excellent small bump compliance giving way to a progressive ramp up as the bike goes through its travel. This gives the Sam2 bottom-out resistance, designed to help the bike take drops and big hits in its stride. When paired with the supplied FOX Van Performance coil shock there is endless grip on offer, conforming to every bump and rut on the trail.
Big batteries mean big smiles. The 625wh Bosch Powertube battery will provide you with more laps than you can imagine, with the powerful fourth-generation Performance CX motor making the climb up to the trailhead just as fun as the run down. With 250 watts of power and 85 Nm of torque at its disposal, the Bosch Performance CX is no slouch when bolted to the Sam2, and provides assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h. A low centre of gravity helps keep the bike planted on rough terrain, and the removable integrated battery gives the bike a sleek aesthetic.
Performing suspension duties on the front are the high-performance FOX 38 Float Factory fork. All-new for 2021, the 38mm stanchions give added torsional stiffness to the bikes front end, making it easier than ever to push through the rough stuff. Couple this with FOX’s premium Kashima coating for reduced friction and the Sam 6.9 spec is clearly a winning formula. 29-inch wheels improve tracking over technical trails, reducing hangup and holding speed well on rocky terrain. Not a fan of the larger wheels? Not a problem - switch the flip-chip position and the Sam2 can accept the 27.5-inch variety, complete with an ultra-playful, short 430mm chainstay length.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
