This versatile aluminium wheelset boasts a low 26mm asymmetrical profile, offering fantastic crosswind stability for alpine riding and high levels of comfort for long days in the saddle. This shallow profile also helps to bring the overall weight down to a mere 1610 grams, making these a perfect option for climbing, whilst providing the snappy, responsive steering required to descend confidently back down afterwards.
Utilising sealed bearings in the hubs, Fulcrum have designed the Racing 5's as a durable option for four season riding. Dust, dirt and moisture are kept on the outside, ensuring smooth rolling no matter the external conditions. Similarly, sporting 24 spokes at both the front and rear, this wheelset is perfectly balanced and provides the high levels of strength and durability required for navigating rough, unpredictable terrain with efficiency and grace.
Included in this fantastic bundle are a pair of Continental Grand Prix Sports Tyres. While the Racing 5's have been designed to accommodate tyres ranging between 25 and 50mm in width, the rim's 17C groove pairs best with the narrower 25mm variants. As such, these tyres provide low levels of rolling resistance for increased speed, whilst simultaneously increasing grip and comfort for long days in the saddle, all year round.
Continental's Inner Tubes are some of the best out there, and with each and every tube checked for imperfections, you can ride knowing every possible measure has been taken to reduce the likelihood of an unwanted puncture. This makes the Continental Tubes a firm favourite with gravel riders and endurance racers alike.
