Genesis Croix De Fer 10 Disc Gravel Bike 2021
A Genesis best-seller, the Genesis Croix De Fer 10 Disc Gravel Bike is renowned for its capability and versatility and is constructed from Mjolnir Chromoly steel for durability, sublime comfort and assured handling. This is a bike that can be used for gravel adventures, commuting, touring, or even on muddier tracks, with clearance for wide tyres paired with either 650b or 700c wheels and mounts for mudguards and racks; it'll perform well on almost any terrain.
A mix of Shimano Sora 9-speed and Genesis components make up the drivetrain. They're reliable and smooth, and the pairing of a 46/30-tooth crankset and 11-34-tooth cassette delivers a good range of gears. Mechanical disc brakes bring modulated, powerful stopping that's equally effective in wet and dry conditions. Rolling on strong Jalco wheels and Kenda Booster 40c tyres, both of which can be used in a tubeless configuration if preferred, you get a good balance of grip, puncture protection and low rolling resistance.
