Genesis Equilibrium Disc Road Bike 2021
With the Genesis Equilibrium being one of the most renowned models in the Genesis range, this disc road bike has a timeless style and delivers all-year-round capability, reliability and comfort. A traditional Reynolds 725 steel frame is paired with a full carbon fork, so you get the best of both materials and the ride is smooth and comfortable yet reactive, with sublime handling, no matter how rough the roads.
Designed for disc brakes, the stopping power is confidence-inspiring in both wet and dry conditions and both braking and shifting are taken care of by Shimano's ever-reliable 105 components. The compact chainset and wide-ranging cassette together provide plenty of gears for both getting you up steep hills and allowing you to hit top speeds on long descents alike. The strong, reliable wheelset has been fitted with bump-smoothing 32mm WTB Exposure clincher tyres which roll fast and give you good traction in corners and over loose gravel. When commuting, heading off on a bigger adventure or simply wanting to set up the bike for winter riding, there are a whole host of mounts to make use of, be that for mudguards, racks or bottles.
