Knight Composites 29" Trail Carbon Clincher Tubeless Wheelset
The Knight Composites 29" Trail Wheelset has been constructed entirely from carbon fibre using an EPS moulding process to ensure strength, stiffness and low overall weight. The wide clincher rims are also tubeless compatible for enhanced traction and control, allowing the rider to run lower pressures without increasing the risk of a puncture.
Utilising a 30mm external rim width, these wheels are built to pair with 2.35" tyres for a confidence-inspiring ride across challenging terrain, while the hookless profile ensures a firm seal, greatly reducing the likelihood of rolling a tyre. Additionally, the 240 hubs provide the smooth, reliable performance expected from a premium DT Swiss offering, while the freehub offers the instant engagement necessary for pedalling out of corners at speed.
Weighing in at a mere 1450 grams, these 29-ers are equally as capable climbing as it is tackling technical descents. Utilising a 29" size, these wheels will effectively roll over uneven terrain that would see smaller variants getting caught up, perfect for those chasing every marginal gain in a race environment.
