Knight Composites 65 Carbon Clincher R45 Front Wheel
A young brand, but one with over 40 combined years of experience in the cycling industry, Knight Composites have developed their 65 Carbon Clincher R45 Front Wheel to be as fast as it is reliable. Featuring a Chris King R45 Hub alongside the perfectly formed airfoil rim shape, this wheel is the perfect addition to your road or time trial or triathlon bike.
The rim is 65mm in depth and uses Knight's trailing edge aerodynamic management shaping or T.E.A.M design to reduce drag through manipulating air on the trailing edge of the wheel. With a rim shaping that allows for a more stable and uninhibited feel guided by wind-steer, you can be sure of a picking a neat line with ease, regardless of the wind.
Strong, this wheel is made from EPS Moulded Carbon Fibre, which improves ride quality over rough surfaces and structural weaknesses by ensuring a smooth and flat profile across the rim, both internally and externally. Reinforcing the wheel and, allowing weight savings, this front wheel's rim comes in at just 545 grams in all, whilst the shaping allows this wheel to remain responsive and even generate lift at high yaw angles.
