Performance meets practicality with the Ksyrium Pro Disc Centre Lock 25 WTS Clincher Wheelset 2015. Using tried and tested Ksyrium technology and brought right up to date with a disc brake setup. The new, lighter than ever, ISM 4D rim shape paired with Zircal spoke geometry and lacing, results in a high quality, disc brake specific wheelset. The hubs have been reinforced, with brake torque resistance. The front hub is a carbon and aluminium concoction and is compatible with 15 millimetre thru-axles. Mavic's Wheel-Tyre System includes the Mavic Yksion Pro 25 GripLink and PowerLink tyres. These are light, grippy and roll well.
Either on the road or a cyclocross bike, the, adjustable, cartridge bearings will be reliable and keep you spinning smoothly, with their high quality design. For rougher roads or terrain the SUP joint rim is a welcome addition, as are the 20 straight pull bladed spokes, offering greater strength than traditional J-bent ones. Adding to reliability are the fore integrated aluminium nipples.
Mounting rotors could not be simpler than with Shimano’s Centrelock disc rotor mounting platform, which has been added to provide numerous rotor possibilities. The wheelset's versatility continues with the front axle accepting both regular 9 millimetre quick releases or 15 millimetre thru-axles. This is achieved by simply changing the axle end caps.
