Meeting the demands of modern day trail riding, Mavic's XA Pro 29 MTB Wheelset 2018 encompasses advanced designs combined with top end materials to deliver a light durable wheelset ready to dominate an array of trail conditions and terrains.

Forged to provide the ultimate ride performance, Mavic have utilised an ISM 4D machining process to form their lightweight Maxtal aluminium rims, the result is a rim that boasts a greater strength to weight ratio that meets the demands of modern day trail riding. With increased strength, the ISM 4D process reduces inertia to promote shock damping flex without compromising power outputs, with assured comfort and ride quality for improved handling. Finessed with a smooth finish the SUP joint welding reinforces the rim's strength, proving this wheelset to be the perfect match for those who like to hit the trails fast with all their power.

Accommodating wider tyres, the 25mm rim width rolls through technical terrains and fast corners effortlessly with improved traction and overall handling. Conveniently versatile, this wheelset matches tyre widths between 2.35" and 3.2".

A fore drilled construction provides threaded spoke holes for a direct robust link between the rim and featured Zicral spokes, eliminating the risks of spokes popping out due to hard impacts. Improving ride quality, the crossed two and isopulse spoke lace pattern provides an excellent balance between strengthening rigidity and compliant flex that dampens vibrations from rough trails so you can push harder for longer.

The ITS-4 hub ensures quick successive power outputs from each rider input. Proving to be incredibly efficient, this reliable hub is composed of a lightweight aluminium body, with four internal pawls that work two by two to translate each pedal stroke into quick accelerations, this wheelset excels through an array of trails whether it's uphill, downhill or across a rough flat.

Keeping in line with modern day tyre advancements, Mavic have utilised a hookless UST rim that accommodates both clincher and UST tubeless tyres, providing you with the option to run a tubeless setup with benefits of improved traction, comfort and reduced punctures.
