Orbea Avant H40 Road Bike 2020
The aluminium model in Orbea's Avant range, the H40 Road Bike pairs a strong and stiff alloy frame to a carbon fork and is designed to balance comfort and rigidity; there's no compromise to performance in this bike best suited to longer rides in mixed terrains and conditions. Avant Endurance Geometry puts you into a more relaxed, less aggressive position that'll prevent aches and pains after hours in the saddle, without losing its sporty feel.
Tiagra 10-speed components from Shimano, alongside an FSA Omega Megaexo crankset, bring plenty of gears to conquer both steep climbs and fast descents, while the Orbea rim brakes take care of stopping duties. A wheelset that's perfect for putting the miles in on, Shimano's RS100s are fitted with Vittoria Zafiro IV tyres in a 25mm width.
- Orbea Avant Hydro - hydroformed triple-butted aluminium - frame
- The headtube, downtube and chainstays are shaped to resist twisting and transmit power to the rear wheel
- Avant Endurance Geometry endurance ergonomics result in a bike that is easier to ride and increases stamina. Handling is precise and intuitive
- The Avant fork uses a shallower, rounded-blade profile and longer fork legs to offer the best combination of elasticity, tyre clearance and torsional stiffness. The increased axle-to-crown height is offset by a shorter headtube to maintain stack measurements and improve aesthetics
- Shimano Tiagra and FSA 10-speed drivetrain
- Shimano RS100 clincher wheels and Vittoria Zafiro IV 25c tyres
