The frame construction is lightweight and injected with grilamid to increase durability. A small amount of flex in the frame means that if an accident were to happen, the glasses are more likely to bend than break. The rubber nosepiece is hydrophilic so even with rain or perspiration the glasses will grip securely to your face and stay in place.
The nylon Carl Zeiss lens is of the highest quality and ensures clarity and contrast are exceptionally good, so you see everything in front of you exactly as you should. A 14% visible light transmission makes the glasses perfect for sunny conditions and the polarised lens blocks glare, be it off the road or off water or another surface. The Ripel treatment repels grease and water so it beads and rolls off the surface, and prevents fogging.
