Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 29" Mountain Bike 2021
The Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 29” Mountain Bike has been designed to be a race-ready machine. Weighing in at just 10.4kg (claimed), it’s perfect for both racing and rapid all-day missions thanks to the 100mm of FOX suspension front and rear which provide both comfort and control. The redesigned FOX Step-Cast 32 Performance Elite fork is stiffer than ever and the Float Performance DPS rear shock features a dual-piston valve construction for improved rebound and compression flow. The one-piece carbon Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) rear triangle has a similar twin upright composition to their World Cup-winning downhill bikes that delivers incredible stiffness and accurate tracking across any terrain without adding weight.
SRAM’s 12-speed X01 Eagle groupset brings simplicity, accuracy and performance to the gear shifting, with the wide range 10-50t cassette having sufficient ratios for any climb, sprint or descent. SRAM also provides the hydraulic brakes in the form of their Level TLM model with 160mm Centre Lock rotors. Suitably fast Maxxis Aspen EXO TR tyres and 29” wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs laced to Race Face ARC Offset 25 rims ensure that speed is easily attained and easily maintained due to their low weight and fast-rolling nature.
