Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon CC X01 27.5+ Mountain Bike 2021
The Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon CC X01 27.5+ Mountain Bike is a multifaceted trail steed set to excel across any terrain. Perfect for hard-hitting downhills through to fast and technical singletrack Bronson’s balance of stability and agility will instil confidence into any rider. The full carbon frame features an advanced layup to manage the particular stresses and strains of rigorous off-road riding. This chassis features a VPP lower-link-mounted, one-piece swingarm rear suspension design for accurate rear wheel tracking, a progressive shock rate and consistent mid-stroke support. The result is an ultimately composed and reactive ride that is then complemented with further levels of trail precision by the plush suspension of the RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork.
The 27.5+ wheelset is shod with 2.6-inch tyres to result in a configuration that is full of traction and sumptuous cushioning for the largest of roots, rocks and ruts. The Race Face alloy rims complement the wheel build by contributing their robustness and reliability before the DT Swiss 350 hubs complete with their smooth bearings and hardy hub shells. Any topography can be conquered thanks to the 12-speed cassette and its vast array of ratios. Choose the 50 tooth sprocket for winching up climbs or the ten tooth sprocket for flying back down again. This cassette is actuated proficiently by the SRAM X01 gearset before the X1 Eagle carbon crank arms and partnering DUB axle efficiently translate power from the rider to machine.
A hydraulic brake configuration dispenses accurate and powerful stopping power before the RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost allows the rider to make saddle adjustments while riding in line with the terrain ahead. To complete, an already tremendously versatile ride can then be further fine-tuned by the Flip Chip feature. This user-configurable technology is integrated into the rear linkage system and changes the bottom bracket height, the rear shock rate and the mid-stroke support to grant an ultimately personalised experience.
