Featuring plus size 27.5" tyres for unrivalled grip on loose, wet terrain, the Santa Cruz Chameleon 7 AL 27.5"+ D Mountain Bike 2021 is a versatile hardtail designed to meet a range of rider needs. From aggressive trail riding to cross country laps, the Chameleon is a valuable addition to any keen cyclist's stable. Its name comes from its ability to blend into a range of disciplines thanks to aftermarket interchangeable dropouts that allow for 29" wheels, and either a geared or single speed setup depending on the needs of the rider.
The modern specification sees a SRAM 1x drivetrain and SDG Tellis dropper post for exceptional on-trail performance. Setup tubeless straight out the box, the Maxxis Rekon 27.5"+ tyres can be run at reduced pressures to further enhance their grip, and are paired with tough WTB i40 rims. Sram Level disc brakes deliver powerful braking in a lightweight package, while the RockShox Recon RL fork provides 130mm of suspension travel.
