Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon CC X01 Coil Reserve 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
The Santa Cruz Nomad CC X01 Coil 27.5 Mountain Bike is designed to meet the demands of enduro riding and trail riding. The RockShox Super Deluxe Coil is a high-performing rear shock that produces a progressive response, increasing comfort, grip and control where you need it most on the trail. Combined with the FOX Float fork and up to 170mm of travel, this represents a perfectly cushioned ride but still offers poised handling. Santa Cruz’s Flip Chip in the lower link can be switched round to drop or raise the bottom bracket by 3.5mm, altering the head tube angle at the same time for a fine-tuned ride.
The CC specific carbon layup has resulted in a frame which is not just stiffer but lighter too, and the 27.5" wheelset complements the setup, with carbon Reserve rims laced onto DT Swiss 350 hubs for a stiff and efficient pairing. With the Nomad's ability to tackle a variety of landscapes, you'll need a set of components up to the task; the 12-speed SRAM X01 Eagle groupset is more than up to the job. Light and durable, the X01 setup offers fast, reliable shifting with the cassette having been redesigned for more accurate and quieter gear changes. Braking is strong yet refined; you can feather them or if stopping quickly is required the SRAM Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes will do so confidently in all conditions.
