The Tech Wool Heritage Short Sleeve Jersey is a true testament to the history of an iconic cycle clothing brand. The full name of Santini is actually Santini Maglificio Sportivo which translates to Santini Sports Knitwear. So with a heritage rooted when all cycling jerseys were made out of wood this modern reincarnation of a classic is bread and butter for Santini, but with a 21st century evolution.
This can be seen in the wool and polyester blended fibres that enable Santini to use sublimation printing on the jersey, this allows the Wool Heritage jersey to stand out in the bunch. But while adding polyester the wool feel has not been lost, allowing the jersey to remain looking beautifully retro. The retro elements have not been forgotten when finishing the jersey with the knitted collar and cuffs , the short metal zipper and the triple back pocket closed with metal buttons.
