Specialized Epic Comp Mountain Bike 2022
The Specialized Epic Comp Mountain Bike offers a potent blend of hardtail reactivity and full suspension control, making it the ideal steed for XC racers and speed-hungry enthusiasts alike. A light and laterally stiff FACT 11m carbon frame delivers exceptional pedalling responsiveness and includes a sophisticated rear suspension design. This rear suspension format uses a RockShox/Rx XC Tune damping unit with integrated Brain inertia technology that intuitively firms the travel on demanding climbs but softens it when the going is fast, rutted and rock-strewn. By automatically altering the damping rate, this Brain format allows the rider to concentrate on the riding ahead, safe in the knowledge that they will always be attacking the course with the most efficient suspension setup.
A RockShox Reba RL fork partners the frame perfectly, using its 100mm of plush suspension to smooth the trails and heighten line precision when the riding is rapid and technical. A balanced XC-themed geometry offers perfect poise and balance and allows the rider to drive power through the crisp-shifting SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed gear configuration. This drivetrain has plenty of range, propelling the light but robust alloy wheelset over any topography. Hydraulic disc brakes complete the build, donating powerful and accurate braking in any weather.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
