Specialized Rockhopper Elite Mountain Bike 2021
A faithful steed within the brands line up for decades the Specialized Rockhopper Elite Mountain Bike has been revamped from the ground up. With a focus pinpointed on ride-quality, versatility and convenience, new levels of performance have been realised at this price point to offer any rider a weapon with which to attack any manner of off-road terrain.
The redeveloped frame utilises Specialized’s own A1 Premium Alloy that is linked together via butted tube sections to result in a chassis that is light, responsive and rugged. Conceived with a cross country inspired geometry, any terrain or topography is catered for, whether up or down, with a snappy but planted ride sensation. The RockShox Judy SoloAir fork joins the frame in a seamless partnership and brings enhanced trail accuracy and inspires confidence and comfort over even the roughest of ground via its plush levels of suspension.
Burly alloy rims and slick spinning but well-sealed hubs are brought together via tough stainless steel spokes to award a wheelset that is ready and set for any root or rock-strewn forest trail or track. An inspired frame size-specific wheel size concept subsequently hones the handling by ensuring perfect balance and control regardless of rider size and strength before tubeless-ready tyres permit increased, all-terrain reliability.
A wide-ranging Shimano Deore gear configuration provides plenty of ratios with which to tackle any uphill grind or downhill blast before hydraulic disc brakes offer all of the stopping power and modulation required, even in the most technical of conditions.
Any already comprehensive off-road partner is then completed thoroughly by aesthetically pleasing internal cable routing, and easily maintained, threaded bottom bracket, dropper post compatibility and convenient rack and kickstand mounts.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
