Specialized’s Powerline carbon sole achieves a 13.0 rating on the Stiffness Index and provides instantaneous power transfer without any flex in the sole. Normally, this would add extra weight to road shoes, but Specialized have managed to keep the weight incredibly low at 200g for each shoe.
The fit of the S-Works Road Shoe DIP Ltd comes down to Thermobonded Adaptive Fitting, which yields impressive support at the ankle, yet gives the rider flexibility and suppleness in the forefoot. Perfect for laying down power in the sprints and giving manoeuvrability on long climbs. The Body Geometry SL Footbed increases the comfort by providing long-lasting arch support.
