Specialized Slaughter DH MTB Clincher Tyre 26x2.3
The Specialized Slaughter DH MTB Clincher Tyre has been designed for downhill racing in dryer conditions. Its low centre knobs boost speed on flat, fast sections, while the tall well-spaced side knobs provide high levels of traction when braking and cornering, guaranteeing you get to the bottom first.
With a 60 TPI, Dual-Ply casing the Slaughter is as tough and durable as it is fast. This, combined with the Butyl inserts at the bead, helps to fend off unwanted flats, no matter the terrain or gradient up ahead. Something that is particularly important to those racing whereby a puncture will almost certainly remove any chance of a podium finish.
Coming in at 2.3 inches wide, grip and stability is further increased, while the extra width helps to take the sting out of bigger impacts. The Slaughter DH is designed to be used predominantly as a rear tyre but can be ridden on the front too for ultimate speed on wide-open tracks.
