Specialized Turbo Levo 29" Electric Mountain Bike 2021
Whether climbing or descending, Specialized’s Turbo Levo 29" Electric Mountain Bike excels, making every ride more fun and enjoyable. With a 150mm M5 Premium Aluminium frame platform and 160mm Rockshox 35 Silver TK fork, it soaks up big hits and small bumps with consummate ease due to improved kinematics, increasing control, confidence and speed.
SRAM’s 4-piston Guide RE hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm rotors are more than up to the task of reigning in the speed that the bike is capable of whilst the efficient 12-speed NX drivetrain provides a useful range of gears for any terrain thanks to the 11-50 tooth cassette. The 29” Roval wheels and Specialized tyres are both tubeless-ready, so converting the bike to running without inner tubes is simple, adding extra resistance to punctures and lower rolling resistance due to the possibility of using lower pressures.
With four assistance modes available, the Specialized 2.1 custom Rx Trail-tuned motor can increase pedalling power by up to 410%, making climbing easier and giving the opportunity to ride further or get more laps of the trail in. It is also lighter and smaller than previous iterations, meaning that the bike handles better, and as the motor disengages completely when the assist limit of 25kph has been reached it is easier to pedal at higher speeds too. The integrated 500Wh battery can be removed from the frame if necessary and the Turbo Connect Unit displays battery level and power-assist mode and controls the motor.
