Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 Electric Hybrid Bike 2023
The Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 Electric Hybrid Bike offers exceptional versatility, lending its performance perfectly to the daily commute, challenging fitness-inspired workouts and long weekend adventures across mixed terrain. This bike's heart is its Turbo Full Power motor that pairs with its 710Wh battery to grant powerful and smooth pedalling assistance. This motor has an integrated controller, allowing it to respond to the rider's pedalling input for a natural feeling boost.
The motor's assistance level is easily controlled by the MasterMind handlebar-mounted display. This unit also shows on-the-go ride information and allows wireless software updates to keep the bike functioning seamlessly. The MasterMind unit can be paired to the MissionControl app for motor customisation, to run diagnostics, and turn on the Turbo System Lock anti-theft device. Additionally, a Garmin Radar sensor is integrated into the MasterMind system to alert the rider when traffic is approaching from behind.
A light and robust aluminium frame is tuned to offer extra compliance over rough surfaces and neatly houses the motor and the battery within its silhouette. The suspension fork and seatpost further increase comfort, while the revised geometry places the rider in a powerful and controlled position. Strong wheels and high volume tyres provide reliability and traction, and a SRAM 11-speed gear set up supplies a vast range of ratios for all terrains. Hydraulic disc brakes stop perfectly in any weather, and the included lights, rear luggage rack and mudguards make any ride safer, cleaner and more enjoyable.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
