Tektro Spyre SLC Mechanical 2 Piston Disc Brake
All the talk this year has been about disc brakes, and now you can get in on the action with these Tektro Spyre SLC Mechanical 2 Piston Disc Brake without braking the bank.
The two piston action provides an equal application of the braking force, through the carbon actuation arms, to either side of the rotor to maximise power and modulation. This application is kept smooth thanks to the ramped balled bearings.
Additionally, the integrated cable barrel adjusters mean you can keep your disc brakes performing perfectly with ease.
These disc brakes are available with either a 140 mm or 160 mm rotor. 140 mm rotors are for International Standard (IS) front forks, but will require the L1 adaptor which is sold separately. Unfortunately, the 140 mm rotor will not mount with forks set up for post mount (PM).
