Trek Fuel EX 5 Deore Mountain Bike 2021
The Fuel EX 5 Deore Mountain Bike is a great way to experience the full-suspension, all-mountain capabilities of Trek’s Fuel EX range. With a 130mm travel aluminium frame and a 140mm RockShox Recon Silver fork, bumps are smoothed and grip increased whilst the Mino Link offers a choice between two geometries; higher for quicker handling and lower for greater stability. Trek’s Knock Block headset and stem design prevent the fork crown from hitting the downtube in the event of a crash and the downtube guard stops any rocks that are flicked up from damaging the paintwork. Cables are kept out of harm’s way with Control Freak internal routing.
Shimano’s Deore M6100 drivetrain has a 12-speed cassette and 30 tooth chainring for easy climbing and fast descending, with the MT200 hydraulic disc brakes providing the control when necessary. A dropper seatpost gets the saddle out of the way quickly on the fly for increased confidence on trickier sections of trail. The smaller frame sizes use 27.5” wheels with 29” rims on the larger sizes so as to maintain the handling characteristics for the whole spectrum of riders.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
