Trek Fuel EX Alloy 27.5" Mountain Bike Frame 2020
Trek’s Fuel EX Alloy Mountain Bike Frame has been optimised for use with Boost 27.5” wheels, making it a great starting point for a trail bike build for smaller riders. The 130mm of suspension comes courtesy of FOX’s Performance FLOAT EVOL rear shock which has a RE:aktiv 3-position damper for easy pedalling and plushness. Control Freak internal cabling keeps the cables inside the frame for protection and neat lines, whilst the Knock Block prevents the fork crown or handlebar from spinning and hitting the frame in the event of a crash.
The geometry can be changed between a lower bottom bracket/slacker head tube angle and a higher bottom bracket/steeper head tube by switching the Mino Link chip in the rocker over, allowing the rider to customise the handling to personal preference. Trek’s Active Braking Pivot (ABP) rear triangle design prevents braking forces from effectively locking out the rear suspension improving control coming into corners.
