Trek Rail 9.8 GX AXS Electric Mountain Bike 2022
The Rail 9.8 GX AXS Electric Mountain Bike by Trek is at home on the trails and pairs a solid but lightweight carbon shell with high-performance power-assisted technology for that extra kick up more challenging climbs. Steep technical hills are handled easily with the 85Nm of torque provided by the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a maximum assisted speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h. At the same time, the various power modes allow instant control via the onboard Bosch Kiox computer.
The battery offers an incredible 750Wh that will last on long adventure days, and it sits within the downtube for a neat integrated look. The battery can be removed easily using a unique key for charging and provides an additional level of security. A small but mighty Mino Link features in the frame's seatstay to allow the option to change the geometry by simply switching the link from a steeper seat tube angle to a slacker one to suit different trails.
RockShox provides the suspension, with 160mm from the Zeb Select+ on the front and 150mm of plush Super Deluxe Ultimate RT3 on the rear, making this bike ready to conquer all-mountain riding with force-absorbing capability.
SRAM's Eagle 12-speed groupset extends the level of support with a large 10-52 cassette ratio that is operated wirelessly. With an app, Bluetooth connectivity is easily achieved and links to the cockpit computer for on-demand control. SRAM Avid Code R supplies hydraulic braking with a 4-piston caliper offering a natural and reliable feel.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent.
