The Trek Silque SSL Womens Road Frameset 2016 offers women the chance to build themselves a dream bike that entirely meets their requirements. Trek have not held back when creating this Trek Silque SSl Womens Road Frameset 2016. The quality of the carbon fibre frame has been stepped up to save even further weight. Additionally, the use of carbon fibre has been extended to include the whole fork and asymmetric steerer for more weight savings, better comfort and improved performance. Even more so than the rest of the range this Silque is ready for any riding from racing, commuting, training or triathlons.

The carbon fibre for this Silque SSL is of the super 600 Series OCLV variety. This is net moulded for supremely tight tolerances around their fantastic Women's Specific Design (WSD) geometry. Nothing fits the female form better than this geometry to deliver the best and most comfortable riding position for longer, faster and smoother cycling.

One technology that would sell this bike on its own is the IsoSpeed decoupler. Using this has enabled many of Trek's pro riders to conquer some of the roughest and most varied terrain as it doubles the frame's vertical compliance by allowing the seat tube to move independently from the rest of the frame.

Also incorporated is Trek's exclusive BB90 bottom bracket, the widest available to save weight, add stiffness and allow for quicker accelerations. A similar theory is applied to the E2 head tube which tapers from 1.5" lower to a 1-1/8" upper. This delivers all the lateral stiffness of a 1.5" for a powerful and confident ride, but saves weight.

You will never have a complaint with a bike built around this superb Silque SSL Frameset, but be warned it will also prevent you ever blaming your equipment.
