Trek Slash 8 29" Mountain Bike 2020
The Trek Slash 8 29" Mountain Bike’s aluminium frame features their Mino Link adjustable geometry and Knock Block design for frame protection. The RockShox Deluxe RT3 rear shock has the Thru Shaft design for faster bump response, ensuring that the wheel tracks the terrain more accurately for better traction. The 160mm RockShox Yari RC fork also provides good responsiveness to hits, keeping the rider in control of line choice even through the heaviest rock gardens.
Bontrager’s Line Comp 30 wheelset and XR4/5 Team Issue tyres are tubeless-ready, and burly enough for the demands of the toughest courses, with the Boost spacing adding strength and stiffness to the 29” wheels. Bontrager also supplies the Line Dropper seatpost which enables the saddle to be lowered from the handlebar remote for easier negotiation of technical sections.
Guide R hydraulic disc brakes and GX Eagle 12-speed groupset from SRAM take care of braking and shifting duties, with both being more than capable of withstanding the demands of enduro riding. Large rotors and an 11-50 tooth cassette provide the necessary power and range for any route or course.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
