The Tru-Tension BananaSlip Tungsten Race Lube is designed for racers looking for that winning edge, and perfect for a wide range of bike types. Developed to withstand up to 300 kilometres of riding without reapplication, this lube blends hard-wearing waxes with Tungsten Disulphide to create a slick, durable chain surface. Setting into an ultra-hard lubricating layer, this lube will survive road spray and puddles, reducing chain wear without attracting dirt.
Originally developed for space projects, Tungsten Disulphide has a lower coefficient of friction than ceramics, graphite and Teflon. Not content with just being faster, it is also more durable, helping to slow and prevent drivetrain wear. Tungsten smooths out the metal surface of the chain at an atomic level, creating an incredibly tough lubricating barrier.
With a recommended application interval of every 150 kilometres, your drivetrain will stay protected for longer, meaning more time on the bike and less time in the shed.
