The Zipp 202 NSW Carbon Clincher Front Wheel is by far and beyond, the fastest and most efficient wheel on the market. Everything from its incredibly low weight of 615g to its 32mm deep, wind-cheating rim depth, has been combined to offer you more than just a fast wheel up the climbs, but a performance-orientated one on the descents.

Dropping the overall weight of a wheel is great for climbing, but cycling isn’t just about climbing, and Zipp understands this. Reducing weight where it matters most, at the outer edge of the wheel, the 202 NSW maintains the durability you yearn for when riding day in day out, and incorporating the Firecrest technology allows it to remain laterally stiff through every situation.

Nest Speed Weaponry (NSW) is the seal that guarantees these wheels contain the most advanced development technology that Zipp has at their fingertips. This comprises over forty concept studies using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) post-processing software and multiple wind-tunnel trips, including the Aerodynamic Bike Testing Facility at the ARC Wind Tunnel, a mind-boggling amount of research and testing that has truly delivered one of the best wheels ever.

One of Zipp's pioneering technologies of late has been the dimpling of their rims for improved aerodynamics. As you would expect, this has been developed even further here with the ABLC SawTooth design. A new design, it consists of 12 nodes that are precisely clocked to start aerodynamic shearing at a much higher rate than regular flat rims. This acts in a similar manner to the dimples on a golf ball to create tiny vortices that act to displace air and allow the wheel to pass through with less drag.

Standard graphics would not do this wheel justice, so Zipp has developed ImPress graphics so they can directly apply their graphics onto the wheel, thus enabling the dimples to do their work all the way around the rim.
