The rim is realised using the brand’s highest grade of carbon fibre to ensure an excellent stiffness to weight ratio and possesses an innovative SawTooth profile that positions Hyperfoil nodes along its inner circumference to vary its depth between 77 and 82mm. This wavy profile slices through the air and remains incredibly stable in crosswinds. In addition, the structural format of the SawTooth profile also heightens the lateral rigidity of the rim, while the HexFIN ABLC dimples on its surface further slash aerodynamic resistance.

The rim rotates around Zipp’s own Cognition V2 hub. This hub has a lightweight shell that houses super-slick bearings for reduced rotational resistance. The build is brought together by Sapim CX-Ray spokes arranged in two-cross lacing patterns.
