Realised in 5mm thick, stiff and durable CNC machined 7065 aluminium, this absoluteBLACK Oval 130BCD 5 Hole Outer Chainring offers an exceptional stiffness to weight ratio to ensure efficient power transfer. It is suitable for cranksets that use a 5-bolt, 130BCD format and boasts an innovative oval shape. This shape places the peak of the oval exactly where the rider is pushing the most power, but minimises resistance through the dead spot of the pedalling cycle. This configuration helps to reduce oxygen consumption and fatigue and lowers the risk of overuse injuries. Gear shifting is kept crisp and reliable, thanks to the ring’s six-point ramp and recess design.
