Containing energy-boosting carbohydrates from cane sugar, this Active Root drink mix can be consumed before, during or after exercise. It's supplied in a pack of 6 x 35-gram sachets, each of which makes up 500ml of drink. It's available in a choice of three flavours, original ginger, one with added green tea that's perfect if you're after something less sweet, and one with peppermint to help keep the respiratory tract clear. The taste is light and refreshing with the core ingredient of ginger preventing potential stomach issues, while salt serves to replenish electrolytes lost in sweat.

Peppermint and Ginger: Cane sugar (natural disaccharide, 50%, glucose, 50% fructose), citric acid, sea salt, peppermint extract, ginger root extract

Allergen information: There are no nuts in this recipe and the product is packed in a nut-free environment, however, Active Root cannot guarantee that nuts are not handled by staff or visitors on the factory premises. Due to the natural ingredients in Active Root, it is perfectly normal to find occasional small dark sugar molasses and particles of ginger fibre. When shaken the particles will mostly dissolve into your drink.
